Has our attention span shrunk so much that we can’t pay someone to pay attention for us? And has our narcissistic hunger for just a little more than 15 minutes of fame so overtaken us? Can someone please explain “twittering” to me? Are the unreality shows so enduring to our primitive minds that now we have to give the mundane a formatted stage? The next generation’s Ken Burns is going to have a hell of a time shifting through all the crap we’ve left behind. And you thought the Civil War and History of Jazz were epics!
Geeze, I hope they don’t make me look fat.
This blog is focused on American social (particularly teens, Jewish thought, Bisexual/LGBT concerns, social psychology) and political issues addressed from the standpoint of common sense, good science, positive/socially responsible faith, and tikkun olam (repairing the world). Honest criticism, caring comments, and loving rebukes are welcome. Capital letters, unnecessary vulgarity, and "flaming" are not. Enjoy!
