This blog is focused on American social (particularly teens, Jewish thought, Bisexual/LGBT concerns, social psychology) and political issues addressed from the standpoint of common sense, good science, positive/socially responsible faith, and tikkun olam (repairing the world). Honest criticism, caring comments, and loving rebukes are welcome. Capital letters, unnecessary vulgarity, and "flaming" are not. Enjoy!

Coming Next Season on "24"
Injuries and exposure to a deadly virus have left Jack Bauer weak, requiring a wheelchair for mobility. Hoping to lift his spirits, an attractive social worker in the rehabiltative nursing home where Jack is recovering gives him a puppy in hopes of raising his broading depression-toned isolation. Jack becomes attached to the pup only to have the dog be kidnapped and torture by agents of bin Ladden. Jack spends the next 23 hours fighting to get his "Snookie" back.
